Seller Agreement

Last updated: 22 October 2026 · This agreement forms part of our Terms of Service. “Seller” means anyone who posts a listing or public profile, including employers, landlords, farmers and institutions.

1.Who this agreement is for

If you post listings on any KFE platform, this Seller Agreement applies to you in addition to the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Where this agreement and the Terms of Service differ, this agreement prevails for sellers.

2.Your identity and contact details

Zimbabwe’s Consumer Protection Act requires anyone offering goods or services online to provide:

your full name (and registered business name and registration details, if you trade as a business);
a physical address and telephone number where you can be reached;
an email address;
a physical address where legal documents can be served on you.

Provide these in your profile or listings where the platform asks for them, and keep them current. We may ask you to verify your identity before you can sell.

3.Listing accuracy

Every listing must be genuine, accurate and complete:

describe the product, property, job or opportunity honestly — including any defects, limitations or conditions;
use photos that show the actual item or property (or clearly mark them as illustrative);
state the full price, including any transport, taxes or other fees — no hidden charges, no bait pricing;
keep listings up to date: remove or pause anything no longer available.

Misleading listings — false prices, false locations, false availability, exaggerated claims — will be removed, and repeat offences lead to suspension.

4.Prohibited listings

You must not list:

anything illegal under Zimbabwean law;
weapons, ammunition or explosives; illegal drugs; hazardous materials;
stolen goods or counterfeit goods, or goods you have no right to sell;
endangered species or products made from them;
accommodation you have no right to offer, with false photos or false availability;
fake or “phishing” job adverts, adverts that charge applicants a fee to apply or to secure a position, fake profiles or impersonation, or pyramid and “get-rich-quick” schemes.

Platform-specific prohibitions are in the schedules to the Terms of Service.

5.You are responsible for your transactions

You are the seller of record. KFE provides the marketplace venue only and is not a party to your transactions: we do not handle payments, take a cut, guarantee sales, or mediate disputes. You are solely responsible for:

the accuracy and legality of your listings;
delivering what you promised, at the price you displayed (the lowest displayed price applies);
your duties under the Consumer Protection Act — including the consumer’s right to cancel an electronic transaction within 7 days without giving a reason, with a full refund within 14 days;
handling buyer complaints fairly and promptly.

You may not display “No Refunds”, “No Returns” or “No Exchange” notices, or any term that denies consumers their statutory rights — under Zimbabwean law such notices are unfair and can be a criminal offence.

6.Reviews and ratings

Reviews of your listings must come from genuine transactions. You must not post fake reviews of your own listings, pay for reviews, or attempt to manipulate ratings. We remove inauthentic reviews and may penalise accounts behind them.

7.Our rights: removal and suspension

We may remove any listing that breaches this agreement or the law, and we may warn, suspend or terminate seller accounts for violations — including repeat inaccurate listings, prohibited items, fraud, or ignoring buyer complaints. For significant actions we will tell you the reason, and you may appeal within 30 days by writing to info@kfe.co.zw.

8.Fees

Listing on KFE platforms is currently free. If we introduce fees or commissions in future, we will announce them clearly and update this agreement before they take effect — no surprise charges.

9.Your data as a seller

The contact and business details you publish on listings are visible to all platform visitors — that is how buyers reach you. How we handle your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy. You must not misuse other users’ personal data (for example, adding buyers to marketing lists without their consent).

10.Changes to this agreement

We may update this agreement as the platforms and the law evolve, with reasonable advance notice of material changes posted on the platforms. Continued listing after changes take effect means you accept the updated agreement.
